Jurnal Pengabdian dan Praksis Masyarakat Sosial (JP2MS) is an electronic scientific journal specifically focused on publishing articles related to community service activities, the application of science and technology, and social praxis aimed at promoting empowerment, welfare, and social transformation within communities.

The journal covers the following fields:

• Social-Humanities-based Community Engagement:
  Activities of social empowerment, community education, social advocacy, community capacity building, cultural preservation, and social-humanities-based interventions that produce significant impacts on society.
• Economy and Welfare-based Community Engagement:
  Strengthening local economies, micro and small business development, social entrepreneurship, cooperatives, community-based economic innovations, and poverty alleviation programs.
• Appropriate Technology-based Community Engagement:
  Implementation of simple technologies, community-driven innovations, training in appropriate technologies, practical solutions for environmental management, and technological capacity building within communities.
• Sustainable Social Praxis:
  Social practices oriented towards sustainable development, environmental conservation, disaster mitigation, and socially sustainable community programs.
• Community Development and Public Participation:
  Studies and practices involving active community participation, community governance, strengthening local institutions, participatory approaches to community development, and the enhancement of social capital.
• Social Advocacy and Policy:
  Studies concerning community-based public policy advocacy, evaluation of social policies, social and legal protections, and social praxis studies promoting inclusive policies.
• Health and Community-based Engagement:
  Studies related to strengthening community capacity regarding healthcare access, health education, community empowerment in health-related knowledge, especially in communities or locations requiring significant improvements in healthcare access.

Types of Articles Accepted:

This journal accepts manuscripts on community service activities, applied research, social praxis reports, community case studies, and other relevant articles concerning community empowerment and social development.

Publication Coverage:

Jurnal Pengabdian dan Praksis Masyarakat Sosial (JP2MS) accepts manuscripts from academics, researchers, practitioners, students, social organizations, and the general public engaged in community service activities at local, national, and international levels.
