Author Guidelines
Manuscript Submission Guidelines
Authors submitting manuscripts to Jurnal Keadilan Hukum dan Kesejahteraan Sosial (JUKAS) must adhere strictly to the guidelines and requirements established by the journal. These guidelines are designed to ensure the quality, clarity, and consistency of published articles. Authors hold full responsibility for any errors or inaccuracies in their manuscripts.
Manuscript Submission Requirements:
- Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the JUKAS online submission system.
- Articles submitted must comply with the writing guidelines set by the Journal of Legal Justice and Social Welfare (JUKAS) to ensure consistency and publication quality.
- Manuscripts may be written either in Indonesian or English using Arial font size 10, with a line spacing of 1.15, formatted in a single-column layout.
- Authors should not include academic titles with their names. For co-authored articles, all authors' names must be clearly indicated.
- The manuscript should consist of:
- Introduction: Clearly state the background, significance, objectives, and problem formulation.
- Methods: Clearly describe the research design, data type and sources, data collection techniques, and analysis methods employed in detail.
- Results and Discussion: Present and discuss research findings clearly, systematically, and comprehensively.
- Conclusion: Summarize key findings and offer relevant implications or recommendations concisely.
- Abstracts should be provided in Indonesian and English, briefly describing the research background, objectives, theory and methods, key findings or novelty, and main conclusions.
- The manuscript length should range from 7 to 10 pages, including references.
- All citations and references should follow the closed-reference format (author, year), following the guidelines provided by JUKAS.
- References must predominantly be recent scientific sources (preferably within the last 10 years) and primarily drawn from reputable scholarly journals, books, and other recognized academic publications.
- Authors must ensure their manuscript has not been previously published or concurrently submitted to another journal (no double submission).
- Authors should not engage in excessive publication practices, including publishing identical or substantially similar research outcomes in multiple journals.
- Book review manuscripts must include the book’s identity, a short author biography, an introduction, a detailed discussion, and a conclusion or summary.
- Authors must ensure that their manuscripts comply strictly with the JUKAS Style Guide.
- Authors must affirm that their manuscript is original, free from plagiarism, data manipulation, fabrication, and has neither been previously published nor currently under review elsewhere.
Compliance with these guidelines will significantly expedite the peer-review and publication process, facilitating timely and efficient handling of submitted manuscripts.
