Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

The editorial team of Jurnal Keadilan Hukum dan Kesejahteraan Sosial (JUKAS) conducts an Initial Review to evaluate submitted articles based on the journal’s criteria. Articles that pass this selection are assigned to peer reviewers, who are experts in the relevant field and have experience in publishing in national and international journals.

Peer reviewers assess the articles from both substantive and technical aspects and provide their recommendations. The final decision regarding rejection, acceptance, or revision requests is made by the editors based on the feedback from peer reviewers. This process takes up to one month. Authors are responsible for revising their articles according to the suggestions given by editors and reviewers.

Review Process Flow:

  1. Author submits the manuscript
  2. Editor evaluation (some manuscripts may be rejected or returned before the review process)
  3. Peer review process
  4. Editor decision
  5. Confirmation to the author
