Maggot (black soilder fly) sebagai sumber pangan alternatif berprotein tinggi untuk hewan ternak
Keywords:
maggot, bsf, organic wasteAbstract
The increasing demand for animal feed and the growing accumulation of organic waste have become major challenges in the industrial sector today. Maggots from Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae have emerged as a solution to reduce organic waste while also serving as a sustainable, high-protein alternative for animal feed. Research findings indicate that maggots contain approximately 30%–40% protein. The use of maggots can reduce feed costs and help decrease the accumulation of organic waste.
